Why IP Telephony matters for your facility

We design the dial plan, call routing and voicemail, provide IP desk phones, DECT handsets and softphones, and configure quality-of-service so calls stay clear on a shared network. Phones are powered over PoE from switches backed by UPS, and the system can connect to door intercoms, paging and, for hotels, the property management system.

IP Telephony engineering considerations

Voice quality

Voice VLANs and QoS protect calls from heavy data and video traffic.

Keep calling during outages

PoE switches on UPS keep phones working when mains power fails.

Service provider lines

SIP trunks or lines are provided by a licensed Qatar telecom operator; we configure the connection.

IP Telephony questions answered

Numbers are managed by your telecom operator; in most cases they can be moved to SIP trunks connected to the new system.

Yes. SIP intercoms can register with the IP PBX so door calls reach desk phones or mobile softphones.
