Reliable plate reading depends as much on installation as on the camera. We position cameras for the right angle and distance, set shutter speed and infrared illumination for vehicle speed, and tune the recognition engine for Qatari and GCC plate formats. How accurate is ANPR?
Accuracy depends on camera placement, lighting, plate condition and vehicle speed. With correct design, ANPR reads the vast majority of vehicles; we measure recognition on site during commissioning.
Can ANPR work with our existing barriers?
Usually yes. The ANPR system sends an open command to the barrier controller through a relay or software integration.
