Site survey & assessment

An accurate picture of what is on site today — cameras, cabling, containment, power and equipment rooms — so designs and upgrade decisions are based on facts.

What Site Assessment covers

Our engineers walk the site, measure mounting heights and distances, check light levels at critical camera positions, inspect containment and equipment rooms, and test sample cable links where needed. Findings are documented with photographs and a clear matrix of deficiencies and recommended actions.

How we approach Site Assessment

Measure, don't assume

Measured heights and distances make camera and lens choices reliable.

Hidden constraints

Full conduits, missing earthing or hot equipment rooms often decide what is possible.

Actionable output

Each finding is linked to a recommended action and priority.

Site Assessment: common questions

It depends on the size of the site. We agree the visit time and report date when the survey is booked.

Initial surveys for project enquiries are often included in our assessment; detailed audits are quoted separately. We confirm this before visiting.
