ELV Testing & Commissioning Engineer (Male)
Lead testing and commissioning of ELV and security systems on commercial and infrastructure projects in Qatar.
What the ELV Testing & Commissioning Engineer (Male) role involves
- Commission IP CCTV, VMS, access control, public address and SMATV systems end to end.
- Prepare test schedules, method statements, commissioning dossiers and snag lists with main contractors.
- Perform copper and OTDR fiber certification and produce test reports.
- Lead authority inspection walkthroughs and support consultant approvals for handover.
- Supervise junior technicians and train client operators.
What you need for the ELV Testing & Commissioning Engineer (Male) role
- Bachelor's degree or 3-year diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering.
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on testing and commissioning experience on commercial and infrastructure projects in Qatar.
- Working knowledge of MOI-SSD technical requirements for CCTV (retention, pixel density, recorder failover).
- Experience configuring access control, speed gates, biometric readers, ANPR cameras and copper/fiber cable certification.
- Experience conducting SAT and FAT with MEP consultants.
- Valid Qatar driving licence; transferable QID / NOC strongly preferred.
