Approvals from the Ministry of Interior Security Systems Department (MOI-SSD) depend on clear, consistent documentation. Requirements vary by facility type and are updated from time to time, so always confirm the current requirements for your project.
1. Typical submission components
- Floor plans with a clear camera legend, field-of-view coverage and blind-spot notes.
- A CCTV storage calculation showing the required retention period (commonly 120 days) at the specified resolution and frame rate.
- UPS autonomy calculations for cameras, network equipment and recorders.
- Single-line and schematic diagrams for power, data and fire-alarm interfaces.
- Equipment data sheets consistent with the schedules.
2. Common reasons for resubmission
Mismatches between drawings and device schedules, missing coverage notes for glass partitions or signage, and storage calculations that do not match the specified settings are frequent causes of review comments. An internal QA/QC check before submission helps avoid delays.
3. After approval
Keep the approved documents with the as-built records: inspectors may compare the installed system and its settings with what was submitted.
